The Republic of Nyrmod was created in early 2021 as an Instagram project by @politicsandfacts. A political simulation, Nyrmod enables you to live out your political dream in an open environment. Mock elections, virtual parliament, and journalism. We have it all. Years later, it stands tall with over 1000 members on Discord and a following of over 600 on other social media platforms. Composed of creative individuals from all over the globe, the Republic of Nyrmod harbors people with extensive knowledge in content creation. All election graphs and social media post design is done in-house.

Becoming President or Vice-President
The Presidential election is held once every 35 days. The job as President involves overseeing national matters and representing Nyrmod abroad. A ceremonial role more than anything, it is nevertheless an important part of the political environment in Nyrmod
Running for a Deputy seat in the National Assembly
The elections for National Assembly is held once every 35 days. The various political parties of Nyrmod submit a list of willing candidates for the assembly, and to participate you need only to show what you can contribute to your party.
Forming a government as the Prime Minister
The winning side in the National Assembly elections gets to form the national government. A total of 12 ministerial positions, the various roles within government enable you to represent your own passions. Being able to form a stable majority within parliament is key to a stable term of government.
Defending the constitution as a Judge
The Supreme Court consists of a total of five Judges. These positions are given out jointly by the President, government and opposition. The main duty of the Supreme Court is to ensure constitutional supremacy, and to judge if incoming legislation is in compliance with the supreme law of the land.
Exposing government corruption as a journalist
If your calling is not in holding elected office, you can aid the people as an investigative journalist. Often called the fourth estate, journalism is the link between people and its rulers.To report on the government’s doings, good and bad, is both an important part of checks and balances and upholding the people’s trust for its elected leaders.
